Death, Where Is Your Sting? ()

Tim Cain, April 15, 2017
Part of the Topical series, preached at a Saturday Evening service

In America we live with the expectancy of reaching old age. The problem with this is that it give us an excuse not to prepare ourselves for death. Often we chose to simply ignore our mortality believing that there will be time enough to think about it when we get older. We ignore it because it makes us sad to think about dying and all that comes with it. In this message, we will consider how Jesus resurrection from the dead is meant to change the way we view death. What does it mean that the sting of death has been removed and how should that reality change our lives?
