Peace on Earth (Psalm 89:20-24, Psalm 89:46-52)

Tim Cain, December 16, 2017
Part of the Advent (2017) series, preached at a Saturday Evening service

We live in a time when peace on earth seems really far away. The divide between political parties and between people of different races and different religions seems to be growing all of the time. All you have to do is watch the news for a few moments to begin to feel discouraged about what is happening. But this Christmas season Jesus comes to remind you that peace is possible. In tonight’s message we will see that the long awaited king has come to fight our battle for us. In this world you and I will continue to face conflict and tribulation but tonight we will see that we can take heart because our king has overcome the world.
