The Beheading of John the Baptist and What it Means for Our Life Today (Mark 6:14-29)

Tonight Mark tells us a fascinating story. It is the story about how John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus himself was killed. This is a gruesome and sordid story and at first you might wonder why Mark has chosen to go into so much detail about it. Well tonight we are going to find out. Tonight we will talk about how the beheading of John the Baptist with all of its many details is meant to effect our lives today.
