Finding Purpose For Our Lives (Mark 6:7-13)

Tim Cain, January 20, 2018
Part of the Mark series, preached at a Saturday Evening service

In a recent TED talk a young Kenyan who was searching for meaning and purpose in his life told the audience, “There are two most important days of your life. The day you are born and the day you figure out why.” In tonight’s message Jesus is going to give us some direction on why it is that we were born. So lets look at Mark 6:7-13 and try and understand how the unique mission that Jesus sent his disciples on 2000 years ago still applies to us today. If you have ever wondered what your purpose is or why you are here tonight’s message is for you.
